Big Ideas, Real Workshop Toyobo
During this workshop, you'll create your own etching based on a black-and-white photograph.
You'll learn how to transfer your digital photo onto a light-sensitive plate. After exposing the plate, you'll develop it to create a negative image of your photo. Once the plate is dry and cured, you'll move on to printing. You'll learn how to apply ink to your plate, wipe it, and then print it onto etching paper. If all goes well, you’ll head home with two beautiful prints!
The workshop includes: two A5 Toyobo plates, transparencies of your images, ink, and etching paper. Lunch, coffee, tea, and treats are also provided.
